Workforce training for a brighter tomorrow

Permanent Housing Solutions (PHS) is proud to introduce our new workforce training program, designed to equip motivated individuals with the skills and resources needed to achieve financial independence and build successful careers. Join us in making a lasting impact on our community.

 Our comprehensive workforce training program

Next month, Permanent Housing Solutions is launching a comprehensive, open-access workforce training program. Our goal is to equip exactly 200 local beginners with the practical tools to write winning resumes and launch their own businesses. This program is tailored for individuals who are highly motivated but lack the necessary resources and direction to achieve their career goals. We focus on empowering displaced individuals and those lacking support, providing them with a pathway to financial independence.

Skills for success: Resume writing and self-employment strategies

Our curriculum is meticulously designed to provide participants with two crucial skills: resume writing and self-employment strategies. These are the top two most important areas we focus on, helping individuals not only secure employment but also create their own opportunities. Participants will learn how to craft compelling resumes that stand out to potential employers and develop the foundational knowledge to start and manage their own businesses, fostering long-term financial stability.

Support a student: Your donation makes a difference

Our curriculum is written and the classroom is ready. Now, we need the community's backing to open the doors. It takes exactly $100 to fund one student's complete education. 100% of your tax-deductible donation directly covers learning workbooks, classroom technology, and space rental. While many training programs have limited spots, PHS aims to offer additional opportunities for students. Your support helps us provide these vital chances for growth and transformation in Buffalo, New York.
